Joel Markowski

Joel Markowski, age 54 of Hamilton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Joel was born in San Angeles, Philippines on November 11, 1969 son of Maria and Paul Markowski. Joel served in the United States Army, Sugarcreek Twp Police Department, Butler County Sheriff’s Department and was a school resource officer at Bellbrook, Edgewood and New Miami. On June 7, 2008, he married the love of his life, Amy Markowski. Joel will be known for his smile, being unapologetically kind, never knowing a stranger and above all, his love for his wife and children.

Joel is survived by his wife of 16 years, Amy Markowski; his children, Christopher (Ashley), Mindy (Eric), Chelsea, Samantha, Abriana, Marlayshia, Madelynn, Nyla, Bryson, Charlynn and Landon; his grandchildren, Cayden, Aliza, Clayton, Micah and Tristan; his parents, Maria Markowski and Paul & Libba Markowski; his siblings, Maria Markowski and Jennifer (Matt) Miller; his in-laws, Harlen and Cyndi Miller; his siblings-in-law, Billy and Keith Miller, Doug and John Dillon, and Eryc and Mitchell Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Joel was preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma Markowski.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 7:00 PM with Rev.
