Joel Payne, Jr.

Joel Payne Jr., age 61 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016. He was born in Hamilton on August 6, 1955 the son of Joel Sr. and Orvida (Arvin) Payne. Joel was employed as a brick layer for various construction companies.

He is survived by three daughters, LaDonna (Donald Cunningham) Payne, Linda (Troy) Needham, and Tina (Thomas) Johnston; six grandchildren, Joey, PJ, Sierra, Bradley, Donald, and Talina; his mother, Orvida Proffitt; six siblings, Aaron, Kenny, Jimmy, Darren, Annetta, and Louise; one great grandson on the way, Karter Joel Krash; and numerous other relatives and friends. Joel was preceded in death by his wife, Roxanna Payne; his father, Joel Payne Sr., and two grandchildren, Olivia Payne and Blazin Cunningham.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Paul Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
