John Bailey Jr.

John Bailey Jr., age 94 of Oxford, passed away at Kettering Hospital Hamilton on Sunday, October 6, 2024. John was born in Leslie County, Kentucky on December 28, 1929, to John Bailey and Susan (Turner) Bailey.  John worked at Pease Industries Inc. from April 25, 1951 to April 30, 1992. John is survived by his two sons, Rick (Margo) Bailey, Mike (Robin) Bailey; his sister, Roxie Wells; five grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren; and his loving dog Jake. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Susan Bailey; 11 siblings, Rose Gibson, Ida Hendrix, Elijah Bailey, Reuben Bailey, Viola and Zola Bailey, Felix Bailey, Evelyn Bailey, Robert Bailey, Donald Bailey, and Clifford Bailey; one granddaughter, Nicole Lynne Bailey; and one great great grandson, Liam Michael Hall. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Scott Miller of Timberhill Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
