John R. Ivey, age 60 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, May 26, 2012. He was born in Hamilton on August 27, 1951 the son of Bert Ivey and Opal (Rogers) Flannery.
He is survived by his fiancé, Doris McIntosh; a daughter, Stacey (John) Winkler; four brothers, Ronnie, Kenny, Pat and Sam; five sisters, Debbie, Brenda, Donna, Joyce, and Sheila; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Matthew Ivey and John Ivey Jr.; his parents and grandparents.
Visitation will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 12:30 followed by the funeral service at 1:30 with Pastor Larry Davis officiating.
