John E. Ketcham

John E. Ketcham, age 62 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 10:02 AM. He was born in Hamilton on April 14, 1945 the son of William Edward and Gertrude (Gross) Ketcham. John was employed as a welder at Cast-Fab Technologies for forty years and was a member of Miltonville Baptist Church. On June 24, 1989 in Hamilton he married Rosa Lawson.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Ketcham of Hamilton; three sons, John (Debbie) Ketcham Jr. of Indiana, Jeffrey Ketcham of Hamilton, and Brian Ketcham of Chillicothe, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Angie Hall of Pensacola, Florida; a brother, Alan (Kathy) Ketcham of Eaton; four sisters, Barbara (William) Donnell, Nora Fore, both of Hamilton, Alice (Edward) Smith of Summerfield, Florida, and Cheryl Ketcham of Ridgecrest, California; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronald Ketcham; two brothers, William Ketcham and John’s twin James Leroy Ketcham.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Eric Brazelton of Miltonville Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
