John Land

John Land, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, February 18, 2024. John was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 10, 1947 to the late Harold and Nancy (Hobbs) Land. John proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Hector (AR-7) before returning to Hamilton. John will be dearly missed by his children, Victoria (Sarah) Dressel; Mark Morner, David Morner, and Nancy Morner; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Isabella, Alexander, Chelsea, Ethan, Tracey, and Kayla; his great-grandchildren, Kamari, Oakley, Hudson, Wrenlee, Madelynn, Amberlynn, Mylah, Delilah, and Maxine; his siblings, Garry Land; Darrell (Betty) Land, Donna (Lee Gene) Ross, Greg (Bobbi) Land, Teresa (David) Charles, Vicki (Todd) Bennett, and Chad Land: his companion, Nancy; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends that are too numerous to list by name. John was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Janet Shelton and Terry Land; his sister-in-law, Susie Land, his niece, Tina Coomer-McIntosh, and his nephew, Christopher Bennett. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, March 1 at 12:00 PM with Rev. David Charles. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
