John M. Lang, age 70 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 9:18AM. He was born in Hamilton on June 28, 1943 to Benjamin and Dorothy (Brown) Lang. John was employed as a truck driver for Pepsi Co. of Hamilton for 38 years, retiring in 2007. He was a member of Faith Pentecostal Church. John was a United States Navy Veteran, and loved watching and attending auto racing events. He was also a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer (Erik) Levasseur, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Julie Hampton of Loveland; three grandchildren; Danielle, Jessica, and Jonathon; a special and devoted friend, Wilma Gay, and her daughter Lesley Gay; one sister, Janet (Gary) Pendergrass; one brother, Gregory (Debra) Lang; and nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Juanita Lang.
Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1PM with Rev. Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 12noon-1PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Faith Pentecostal Church, 1676 Eden Park Dr. Hamilton, OH 45013.
