John G. Madaffari

John G. Madaffari, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 10, 2016. John was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 24, 1937. He was an amateur boxer in his youth, and received a boxing scholarship to Michigan State University. John had also just completed his 50 year of employment at Western States Machine Company. On May 10, 1985 in Hamilton, he married Gloria Hebert.

John is survived by his wife of 31 years, Gloria Madaffari; his step son, Kris (Alissa) Theobald; his children, Rebecca Buchanan, John Madaffari, Chris Madaffari, and Mike Madaffari; his grandchild, Emily Theobald; his sister, Gloria Grey; his devoted dog, Martha; and other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents; his brother William Madaffari.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Kris Theobald officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
