John C. "Johnny Mac" Mcmeekin

John C. "Johnny Mac" McMeekin, age 59 of Georgetown, KY passed away at University of Kentucky Medical Center on Friday, May 5, 2017. John was born in Lima, Ohio on June 5, 1957 to Charles F. McMeekin and Mary (Oldham) McMeekin. He was passionate about his career and he cared about all of the people in his life. He was a loving father, proud grandfather, youngest of three loving brothers, and best friend to many.

John is survived by the mother of his children, Sonja (D.L.) McMeekin-Thrasher; his children, Rachel McMeekin-Miller and John Joshua (Natalie) McMeekin; five grandchildren, Edward, Noah, Bella, Hope, and Izabel; two brothers, Charles F. (Becky) McMeekin and James (Kathy) McMeekin; and many other family members. John was preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. McMeekin and Mary McMeekin.

Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Church of God, 1760 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 12:30 PM with Rev. Pete Witt officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Hamilton Church of God.
