John W. Platt Jr.

John W. Platt Jr., age 66 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Sunday, January 31, 2016.He was born in Cincinnati on November 28, 1949 to John and Virginia (Tillett) Platt. John was employed at Mosler Safe for 28 years and did construction/remodeling.

He is survived by his daughter, Rita Perez; his granddaughters, Ashley and Heather Platt; his great grandsons, Elijah and Isaiah Platt; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, John W. Platt III and his parents.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 from 2PM until time of memorial service at 3 PM with Rev. Wendell Coning officiating at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. Hamilton, OH 45011. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
