John R. Shafer

John R. Shafer, age 59, of Hamilton, passed away at McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford on Tuesday September 18, 2012 at 2:47AM. He was born on March 9, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio; the son of Robert Shafer and Alberta Puckett. John was employed as a Network Systems Operator at Miami University.

He is survived by one child Kristen Warnock of Hamilton, and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Robert Schafer.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. on Monday September 24, 2012 at 11AM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1030AM until time of service at 11AM.
