John Slusher, age 88 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Friday, August 26, 2011. He was born in Clay County, Kentucky on October 14, 1922 the son of Beverly and Roy Slusher
He is survived by his children, Donna (Gene) Shepherd, Judy Eliton, Beverly Ball, Linda Patterson, Sharon (Jim) Ewen, Mildred Stevens, John A. (Bea) Slusher and Lori Slusher; brothers, Robert, Herman and Gillis; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Slusher; sons, Charles, Herbert and Humphrey; parents; siblings, Morgan, Mittie, Hester and Thelma.
Visitation will be 12noon until time of service (1pm), Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Brown Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave, Hamilton. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
