John G. Woods, age 55 of Fairfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on June 9, 1959. John was employed at Express Scripts. He attended Amanda United Methodist Church and St. Clair Ave. Baptist Church, where he shared his love and passion of singing.
He is survived by one daughter, Breanna (Edward) Johnson; fiance Angela Theders; two grandchildren, Anya Lynn Johnson and Sophia Rebecca Johnson; one brother, Jimmy Bolser; one sister, Lisa Hensley; and his best friend, James Frybarger. He was preceded in death by his mother Henrietta A. Woods; and one brother, David.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11AM with Pastor Don Dewey officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 10AM-11AM at the funeral home.
