Johnny "Hondo" Couch, age 71 of Oxford, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Johnny was born in Manchester, Kentucky on July 28, 1947 to Alfred and Reva (Fields) Couch. Johnny served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards.
Johnny is survived by his children, Tracy Agee, Johnny D. Couch, Kim Couch, Johnny R. (Suzanne) Couch, Jason Caudill, Stacey (Tim) Hurst, and Reva Couch; his wife, Cheryl Lovejoy; 14 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; his siblings, Janie (the late Pete) Ballard, Kenny Couch, Wiley (Pam) Couch, Lois (Elbert) Burton, Randy Couch, Joyce Couch, Jewell Dean Morgan, Joe (Penny) Couch, Alfred Couch Jr., Frank (Teresa) Couch, Oliver Couch, and Tracy Rikas; his brother-in-law, Johnny Durbin; and numerous other family members and friends. Johnny was preceded in death by his son, Justin Tyler Couch; his granddaughter, Kayla Couch; his siblings, Edna Thomas, Molly Wickie, Kathy Durbin, Danny Couch, and his parents. The family would like to thank Ray and Toni Moore for their care and support.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 12:00 PM with Otis Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
