Johnny King, age 65 of Hamilton passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012. He was born in Cincinnati on January 25, 1947 the son of Martus "Fuzz" and Hazel (Gerhardt) Mills. James was employed as a concrete laborer at Baker Concrete. He was a member of Moose Lodge #36 in Hamilton. On December 28, 1981 in Hamilton he married Ada Riley.
He is survived by his wife, Ada King; four sons, James King, Jason King, Bobby Jean King, and Malachi Hopkins; a daughter, Dee Dee (Mike) Ollis; five brothers, Michael (Carol) Mills, Martus (Sharon) Mills, Manford Mills, David Mills, and Phillip Mills; five sisters, Regina (Paul) Hollandsworth-Riley; Lavern Hoog, Debbie Lawrence, Phillis Gross, and Juanita Banks; 16 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brother and sister in law Tim (Margaret) Riley and Butch (Jeannie) Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles, Robert Dale, and Raymond Mills; and a sister, Ellen Mills.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Paul A. Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
