Jonathan R. Murphy

Jonathan Roy Murphy, age 48 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Jonathan was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 5, 1974 to the late Earl Murphy Jr. and Debbie (Waldroff) Barger.  John loved his cars, guns, and food. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, playing his guitar, and was a member of the Izaak Walton League Talawanda Chapter for several years.

John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Michele Murphy; daughter, Gabrielle Murphy; son, Garrett Murphy; his mother Debbie (Doug) Barger; his two sisters, Erica Murphy and Deana Riley; his best friend, Jason Tyng; mother-in-law, Janet (the late Gary) Pendergrass; his nephew, Jordan Johnson; niece, Karlie Smith; and his great nephew Jarron Johnson.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl Sr. and Rosie Murphy, and Roy and Alma Waldroff; and his four-legged best friend, Aries.
