Jose Martinez

Jose Martinez, age 74 of Santa Barbara, Mexico, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019. Jose was born in Santa Barbara, Mexico on May 27, 1945 to Sotero Martinez and Maria Esther Rangel. Jose will be remembered for his strength throughout previous hardships that he overcame. His family was able to stay strong and together as they cared for him up into his last days.

Jose is survived by his wife of 54 years, Maria Jesus Martinez; his children, Armando Martinez, Angelica Jasso, Maria Esther Martinez, Eloy Martinez, Rogelio Martinez, Marta Martinez, Enrique Martinez and Sinhidia Martinez; his many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his siblings, Teresa and Irma; and many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Sotero Martinez and Maria Esther Rangel; his children, Alma Delia Martinez and Jose Martinez; his brother, Enrique Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. Flowers are welcomed.
