Joseph Binegar

After 22 years of battling cancerous brain tumors, six in all, Joe, at the age of 50, went home to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Born to Marlene Vidourek and Marvin Binegar on Feb. 24, 1963, in Hamilton, Ohio. He went to Adams and Monroe elementaries, Harding Jr. High and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1982. After high school, he worked for Eavey’s grocery store and then Beckett Paper Co. He loved going to church and being with family and friends. All who knew Joe loved him and admired his faith and love for God. He was an inspiration to all who came in contact with him.

Besides his parents, Joe leaves two brothers, Anthony (Alice) and Michael (Jenny) Binegar, five nephews; Joseph S. (Jamie) Binegar, Joshua, Justin, Jacob Binegar and Jon Lee. One precious niece Jamie Binegar and two great nieces, Bryauna and Lilian Binegar. Special aunts and uncle Dee and Corky Arnold and Patty Vidourek. Special friends; Paul Goos, Pastor Al Bell, Dave Garrett Jr., Rev. Felix Russo, and Chris and Amanda Saylor. Also many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, too numerous to name them all.He was preceeded in death by all his grandparents and his godmother Margie Ryan. All who accept and stay close to Jesus will see him again in heaven.

Special thanks to Dr. Albright and staff, especially nurse Jane, at Good Sam Hospital Outpatient Cancer Care Unit for years of wonderful, compassionate care and love. Also to Dr. Schwetschenau and staff, who performed six of his seven surgeries.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 12 Noon at the New Haven Rd. Church of God with Rev. Dave Garrett officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton. There will also be a visitation from 11 AM until time of service (12 Noon) at the church.
