Joseph A. Bolser, age 73 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospice Unit on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 5:30 PM. He was born in Hamilton on August 18, 1933 the son of Jacob and Elizabeth (Fisher) Bolser. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1952 to 1956. He was employed as a painter at Mosler Safe Company for 30 years, retiring in 1990. Joseph was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. On June 20, 1953 in Ajo, Arizona he married Juanita "Susie" Bond.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita "Susie" Bolser of Hamilton; three sons, Robert A. Bolser of Richmond, Indiana, Charles (Tammy) Bolser and Joseph A. Bolser, Jr., both of Hamilton; two daughters, Roxanna L. Whittaker of Falmouth, Indiana, and Vicki Bolser of West Palm Beach, Florida; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six sisters, Mary Fuller of Middletown, Faye Sharp, Verna McDulin, Carol Packer, all of Hamilton, Sr. Dorothy Bolser and Barbara Quatkemeyer of Cincinnati; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Bolser; sister, Patty Kinison; and grandson, Kenneth Whittaker.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
