Joseph E. Hogan

Joseph E. Hogan, age 61 of Hamilton passed away March 5, 2012 in Mercy Hospital Fairfield. He was born in Hamilton on November 28, 1950 the son of Arthur P. and Grace H. (Klay) Hogan. Joe graduated from Badin High School in 1969 and the University of Notre Dame in 1973 with a BS in Physics. He was self-employed as a corporate pilot and aircraft mechanic, and was a member of the American WACO Club, the Silver Wings Fraternity and the QB Fraternity.

He is survived by his mother, Grace Hogan; brothers, Dan (Kandi), Cliff, Tom (Marcia), and Fred (Sherri) Hogan; sisters, Julie (Rick) Hill and Barb (Mike) Howell; and was the beloved uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Don Hogan.

Visitation will be 5-8pm, Friday, March 9, 2012, at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am, Saturday, March 10, 2012, at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton Street, with Fr. Michael Pucke, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St Mary Cemetery. Donations may be made to Badin High School or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
