Joseph C. Lamb

Joseph C. Lamb, age 80 of Fairfield passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 1:20 AM. He was born in Hamilton on December 29, 1930 the son of Clifford and Ann (Wetzel) Lamb. On January 27, 1951 he married Marjorie Smith, and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey (Lori) Lamb; four daughters, Susan Richardson, Mary (Daniel) Beckwith, Kristine (Rick) Cassano, and Patricia (Darin) Rieman; 12 grandchildren, Annie, Jackie, Katie, Lynn, Chris, Jenna, Molly, Tony, Kelly, Alex, Austin and Sarah; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Stanley; a sister, Lois Lamb; and two sons-in-law, Richard Stanley and Michael Richardson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Road, on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stephen T. Badin High School, 571 New London Road, Hamilton 45013 or to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton 45013.
