Joseph Paul Tucker, age 78 of Liberty Township, passed away at UC Medical Center on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Joseph was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 12, 1945, to Leslie J. Tucker and Clarine (Beasley) Tucker. Joe started his work life in industrial tool sales and went on to find extraordinary success as a real estate broker for the better part of his adult life. He was deeply devoted and faithful to his church family at Princeton Pike Church of God and served in many leadership roles throughout his life as the church grew and thrived. His community service was as unique as he was, serving as a volunteer fireman, mounted patrol, and serving on the township zoning board among many others. His greatest love and honored work was his family. His unwavering support of his wife of 59 years, Ann, and her ministry that began before they were married. He was her greatest advocate and fierce protector; she was his world. He had endless pride for each of his children and their accomplishments, he was quick with a story or update to be sure you knew. His children were his whole heart, and they knew that to be true. For Joe, life began again as his most treasured grandchildren began to arrive and expand his world as each added more love and joy to his life. The most recent addition of his twin great grandsons was the newest sparkle in his eye and joy in his heart. To know Joe, was to love Joe. He knew you by name, he loved and valued you with authenticity, he was generous with all he had, and his hugs would warm you for a lifetime. His legacy will live on in those he loved, and those who loved him most.
Joseph is survived by his faithful and adoring wife, Ann Tucker, his children, Dr. J. Brian Tucker (Amber), Kimberly Vincent (Dave), Julie Fritz (Byrne), grandchildren, Ashley Doyle (Matt), Alex Bodkin (John), Anna, Emma Jacobs (Duhann), Max, Abigail, Collin, Will, Kaitlyn, Ben, great grandchildren, Levi, Mason, siblings, Ken, Clyde (Donna), Starla Hood (Ron). Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Leslie J. and Clarine (Beasley) Tucker; his siblings, Sherry Tucker and June Adkins (Bobby); and his sister in law Sheila.
