Josiah Allen Angel Reese

Josiah Allen Angel Reese was born and gained his Angel wings on Friday, September 20, 2024. Josiah was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Roger and Melissa Reese. He was a natural born fighter who broke every curse spoken against his life. Josiah had an extra chromosome, Trisomy 13, and they said he would never breathe on his own and make it outside of the womb, but God gave him life. He was born at 29 weeks and 2 days, and he fought to meet his family. Josiah was with us for 97 of the most beautiful minutes, and we were able to embrace him as the angel God sent to us. We understand that he was never here to stay, but on an assignment to help all of us heal and become one. Josiah had a higher calling. So much healing began with his little heartbeat and will keep on healing for a lifetime. We are blessed to have been chosen to be his family.

Josiah is survived by his parents, Melissa and Roger Reese; siblings, John, Angelina, Jackson, Lillyanna, Giovanni, and Nicholas; grandparents, Tony and Tina Widner, Roger Reese Sr., and Terri (Sam) DeAngelis; great-grandma, Judy Spicer; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Josiah was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Reese III; aunt, Jessica; and his grandfathers, Steve Spicer and Frank Aloisio.

A Celebration of Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
