Joy E. Edmonds

Joy E. Edmonds, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Joy was born in Richmond, Kentucky on February 19, 1937. On November 11, 1967 in Cincinnati, Ohio she married Clarence Edmonds and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2018.  Joy was retired as an adminstrative assistant at Walt Disney World after numerous years of service.

Joy is survived by seven children, Shawna Haven, Wanda (Walt) Oelrich, Eric Stapleton, Crystal (Todd) Brewer, Brett (Cindy) Edmonds, Donald (Shawn) Edmonds, and Sherri (Greg Weisenberger) Campbell; two brothers, Jesse Powell and Geordie (Barb) Moore; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucian and Geneva (Tackett) Moore; one brother, James Powell; and one sister, Alene Philpot.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
