Joy M. Lauper

Joy M. Lauper, age 73 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 3:30PM. She was born in Estill Co., KY on April 29, 1940 to Clayborne and Alma (Ellington) Estes. Joy was employed at LoBill Foods for 10 years, retiring in 2004. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Deborah (Vernon) Cecil of Hamilton,Thomas (Jennifer) Leitsch of Kansas, Dennis Leitsch of Hamilton,Todd Leitsch of Florida,Traci (Marc) Arminio of Hamilton; 10 grandchildren, Jason (Ally) Cecil, Kristy (Ken) Morgan, Erin Leitsch, Jess Leitsch, Kari Packer, Elva Bane, Sandra Cushman, Isabel Leitsch, Amber Arminio, Darian Arminio; four great-grandchildren, Bishop, Landon, Noah, and Sylver; siblings; Evelyn James, Voris Estes, and Farrell Estes. She was preceded in death by her parents, and eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 1PM with Pastor Jay Barden officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 12noon-1PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Fort Hamilton IMC, and Hospice of Hamilton.
