Joyce E. Buchanan, age 73 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on October 10, 1941 to Carl and Catherine (Pate) Geisler. Joyce retired from Miami University.
She is survived by her husband; Ellis Buchanan, her children; Roger (Brenda) Geisler, Missy (Phil) Sackenheim, her grandchildren; Megan, Brett, Roger Jr., Brian, Grant, and three great grandchildren, her sister; Faye Bitler. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11 AM with Chad Grindstaff officiating. Burial will follow at Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com.
