Joyce A. Devereaux, age 70 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, June 8, 2009. She was born in Hamilton on November 23, 1938 the daughter of Edward and Carrie E. (Adams) Bowling.
She is survived by a brother, Donald R. (Becky) Bowling; a sister, Linda (James) Howard; nephews, Steve (Jill) Bowling, Scott (Melissa) Howard, Dennis (Kathy) Howard; niece, Kim (Bob) Thomas; and great-nieces and nephews, Katy Bowling, Ashley Thomas, Josh Howard, and Evan Bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Junior Bowling.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, June 12, 2009 from 5:00 PM until time of memorial service at 6:00 PM. Pastor Bob Siebels of First Church of God will be officiating. Cremation has been held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
