Joyce Ann Jones

Joyce Ann Jones, age 61 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 12:45 PM. She was born in Cincinnati on November 18, 1949 the daughter of Ralph Day and Martha Ellen (McWhorter) Kidd. Joyce was a 1968 graduate of Lakota High School and was employed as a Telecommunications Specialist for Fort Hamilton Hospital for 37 years. On July 15, 1972 in Hamilton she was married to Terry Jones.

She is survived by her husband Terry Jones of Hamilton; a daughter, Bethany Jones of Hamilton; a son, Joshua Jones of Hamilton; her mother, Martha Ellen Kidd of Hamilton; her father and step-mother, Ralph and Cathy Day of Liberty Township; two grandchildren, Jordan and Korrine Jones; six brothers, Gary, Greg, Mark, and Philip Day, James Howard and Eric Bourke; five sisters, Jane Cook, Mary Ellen Eberly, Judy McCune, Cinda Day, and Joni Barnhardt; a brother-in-law, Dwight Jones; a sister-in-law, Pam Brandt; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Donald Pierce of Victory Pentecostal Tabernacle officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
