Joyce Kay Moore

Joyce Kay Moore (Roll), 75, of Hamilton, Ohio, was born on February 10, 1950, and passed peacefully on February 9, 2026, with her daughters and granddaughters by her side, in the loving care of Hospice of Middletown. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Earl Roll.

Joyce grew up in New Miami, where she came to know the Lord at a young age, a faith that guided her throughout her life. She served as the Butler County Truancy Officer for many years and then proudly worked at Procter & Gamble for 14 years. She was a faithful member at Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church, where she also served as Missions Secretary for over 25 years, faithfully handling every detail with love. She loved shopping, riding her bike, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She was a devoted mother to Brandi Smith (James) and Melissa Selke (Terry), and a loving Meme to Lexie Villaver (Rowan), Kylie Smith, Brieley Proffitt, Tatum Proffitt, Noah Smith, and Kinley Smith. Joyce loved her daughters and grandchildren deeply and prayed for them and their families daily to know and serve the Lord. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 17, from 10–11 a.m. at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013, with a service immediately following at 11 a.m., led by Pastor Ron Pittman.
