Joyce Nistler

Joyce Pauline Nistler, age 83 of West Chester, passed away at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties on Monday, October 22, 2018. Joyce was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on July 31, 1935 to Clarence and Maysel (Woodruff) Martin. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family. Joyce was the Vice President of Victims United from 1994-2000. She was a caregiver and CNA for 30 years.

Joyce is survived by her children, James (Darlene) Whitlock, Dorothy (Barry) Leonard, Kathy (the late Larry) Johnson, Linda (Steve) Gray, Penny (Joe Koch) Jackson, Mark Whitlock, Frank (Beth) Nistler, and Jenny (Gary) Turley; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; her siblings, Irwin (Siony) Mercer, James (Karen) Martin, Alice Martin, Sheila Martin, and Stacy Martin. Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Gabbard; her granddaughter, Angela Whitlock; her siblings, Mary Flynn, Richard Martin, Pamela Martin, and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Gary Grubb officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. www.browndawsonflick.com
