Joyce M. Tann

Joyce M. Tann, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Monday, February 12, 2024. Joyce was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 5, 1938 to Elmer and Rita (Klein) Beer. Joyce graduated from Notre Dame High School class of 1956. She was a school secretary for Hamilton City Schools for 15 years and at St. Ann’s Catholic School for 25 years. Joyce was a volleyball referee at multiple locations for over 50 years. She attended St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church for many years.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Douglas J. (Cynthia) Tann of Maineville, OH and R. Scott (Mary) Tann of Sugarland, TX; her grandchildren, Heather, Bethany, Arriona, Brad, Michael, Becca, Emily (Dalton) Scorgie and Daniel Tann; and her great-grandchildren, Mason, Reagan, Luke, Chloe, Benjamin, Cole, Wes, Stevie, and a baby boy and baby girl on the way. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Rita Beer.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Dale Wine officiating at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery.
