Juanita Webb Barker

Juanita Webb Barker, age 84 of Hamilton passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 10:20 AM. She was born in Hamilton on February 19, 1926 the daughter of Gardner and Anna (Thomas) Waddell. Juanita was a 1944 graduate of Union High School and was formerly employed as a checker at Miami University. In September 1946 she was married to Ron Webb, who preceded her in death in 1996. She later married Patrick Barker, who preceded her in death in 1993.

She is survived by her daughter, Carla (James) Laycock of Hamilton; two sons, Ronald (Connie) Webb of Hamilton and Richard (Judy) Webb of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; five brothers, Garland (Christine) Waddell of Connersville, Indiana, Edwin (Mary Catherine) Waddell of Dayton, Ohio, Glendon (Betty) Waddell of Florida, Ronnie Waddell of Florida, and Galen (Marianna) Waddell of Dayton, Ohio; and four sisters, her twin sister, Geneva Bane of Richmond, Indiana, Geraldine (Jerry) Breen of Richmond, Indiana, Edith (Bill) Roberts of California, and Janice Faye (Harry) Potter of Richmond, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Darrell Waddell; a sister, Irene Burton; a grandson, Daniel Webb; a brother-in-law Robert Bane and a special friend, Clarence Harnish.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hawthorn Glen for all their loving care and support.
