Juanita Burns

Juanita Burns, age 87 of Harrison, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017. Juanita was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 28, 1930 to Squire and Amanda Bishop. She retired from Kroger in Harrison, Ohio. Juanita was a member of Pleasant Run Church of Christ. She enjoyed all styles of dancing, was an avid traveler and will be missed dearly by many family and friends.

Juanita is survived by sister, Dora Harris; children, Jerry Bolser, Bonnie Bolser, Joyce (Doug) Goodman, Eddie (Julie) Bolser and Keli (Mark) Hammel; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Juanita was preceded in death by parents, Squire and Amanda Bishop; brothers, Kelly, Johnny and Ellis Bishop; sister, Viola Kimble.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Bill Hesse of Pleasant Run Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, Ohio.
