Juanita O'Donohoe

Juanita O'Donohoe, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, June 7, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on February 9, 1932, the daughter of Raymond and Alberta (Mick) Richter. Juanita was educated in St. Veronica School, and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1950. On August 1, 1962 she married Maurice F. O’Donohoe III, and he preceded her in death in July, 1970 while they resided in North Carolina. She retired in April, 1992 from the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. She loved her dogs, especially Lucky.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Gene Shelton; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Jean Nohrer. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David and Donald Gene Richter; and a sister, Dolores Shelton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Michael Pucke, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Khanna, Bradford Place, and to Hospice of Hamilton for their care. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to contribute to a charity of the donor’s choice.
