Juanita J. Payne

Juanita J. Payne, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 8:47 AM. She was born in LaFollette, Tennessee on August 8, 1928 the daughter of Frank and Delia (Shelby) Collinsworth. Juanita was member of the Princeton Pike Church of God. On June 7, 1947 in Lafollette, Tennessee she married James H. Payne and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Juanita is survived by three daughters, Carolyn (Vergil) Knight of Union, Kentucky, Brenda (James) Arrowood of Greenville, South Carolina, and Jeannie Payne of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Noel, Daniel, and Traci; three great grandchildren, Kyla, Drew, and Lily; three siblings, Frank (Geneva) Collinsworth Jr. of LaFollette, Tennessee, Wanda Jean (Elmer) Vaughn of Hamilton, and Jessie (Joe) Yao of Las Vegas, Nevada; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael D. Payne; and three brothers, Robert, Bill, and Jimmy Collinsworth; and three sisters, Betty Ford, Rosella Haley, and Georgia Tye.

Funeral service will be held at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church.
