Juanita Rose

Juanita Rose, age 92 of Fairfield, passed away at Tri County Extended Care Center on Monday, February 13, 2017. Juanita was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky on November 18, 1924 to James Whitaker and Ethel (Evans) Mullins. She was a charter member of Hamilton Church of God. On January 27, 1941 she married Lawrence Rose, and he preceded her in death in 2010.

Juanita is survived by her two children, Larry (Joyce) Rose, Myra (John) Loman; four grandchildren; Jill (Mike) Merrill, Sherrie McQueen, John Loman Jr, Chris (Chelsea) Rose; 8 great grandchildren, Chad Merrill, Nicholas Merrill, Katelynn McQueen, Jeremy McQueen, Tanner Loman, Ruby Loman, John Clayton Loman, and Analia Rose; and 2 great great grandchildren, Ava Merrill and Madelaine Loman. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Mullins and James Whitaker; her spouse Lawrence Rose; one great granddaughter, Myranda Ann Merrill; 2 sisters Jenny Lee Whitaker and Geneva Cavin; and 2 brothers, Robert and Donald Whitaker.

Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Church of God, 1760 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Alan Weaver of Hamilton Church of God officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hamilton Church of God.
