Juanita Yordy

Juanita Yordy, age 93, of Millville, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospice Unit on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. She was born in Hamilton on November 26, 1914 the daughter of Alvin R. and Ida May (Elkins) Laughlin. On February 12, 1949 in Millville Juanita married Dale Yordy who passed away in 2004. With her husband they were owners and operators of Yordy Construction for 30 years retiring in 1978.

Beloved aunt of Patricia Ebbing, Kenneth (Mary) Ebbing, the late Thomas (Clare) Ebbing, Glenn (Hazel) Yordy, and Greg (Ellen) Yordy; Also survived by a brother-in-law, Calvin Ray (the late Marcella) Yordy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister Esther Rose Ebbing.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Saturday, March 15th at 3:00 PM with Rev. George Ragan of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 3 PM.
