Judy C. Combs

Judy C. Combs, age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 2:27 PM. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on January 1, 1944 the daughter of Hollis and Sophie (Hamilton) Guffey. Judy was co-owner and operator of E&J Enterprises for the past 15 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Pamela (James) Saylor of Hamilton; three brothers, Don (Judy) Guffey and Jim (Sybil) Guffey, both of Hamilton, and Paul (Helen) Guffey of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Steven and Kayleigh, both of Hamilton; devoted companion and partner, Enrique Sanjuan of Hamilton; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special thank you to Rhonda Hall and Teresa Anders; and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jean Burns.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Mike Luzecky of Covenant Life Church officiating. Burial will be in held in Hazard, Kentucky on Thursday. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Desai and his staff and also to the staff at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield for all their care and support.
