Judy Grubb, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Judy was born in Laurel Co., Kentucky on September 3, 1936, to Presley Gaines and Doshie (Morgan) Gaines. On September 19, 1953, in Jellico, TN, she married Forester Grubb, and he preceded her in death in 1981. She worked at Avon Products as a machine operator for over 25 years and retired in 1993. Judy enjoyed crocheting, baking, and most of all serving others.
Judy is survived by her two sons, Gary (June) Grubb, Eddie (Mishi) Grubb; her grandchildren, Keith (Nicole) Brinkman, David Grubb, Daniel Grubb, Nathan (Amelia) Grubb, and Carissa (Josh) Couch; her great grandchildren, Emma Brinkman, Ethan Goode, Makenzy Grubb, Karly Grubb, Ainsley Couch, Malakai Couch, and Avery Grubb; her brother, Donnie Gaines, and many other family and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Presley and Doshie Gaines; her husband, Forester Grubb; her daughter, Sherry Ann (Dave) Brinkman; her grandson David Brinkman II; and her siblings, Ethel (Albert) May and Onza (Estelle) Morgan; and sister-in-law Estelle Gaines.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Pete Witt of Rooted Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Rooted Church, 2275A Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013.
