Julia L. Hulett

Julia Louise Hulett, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Monday, August 26, 2024. Julie was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 5, 1955 to Martin R. and Ruth (Hetterich) Arnold.  Julie began her education at St. Peter’s in Chains School and she graduated from Taft High School in 1973.  Julie was blessed with many friends whom she met during her school years and career which included: photographer for Olan Mills, caregiver for numerous children, server for “Wings,” advisor for Eveleigh Insurance then United Heartland Insurance and, finally, office manager for Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home until her retirement in 2022.

Julie is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Hulett, Polly (Jeremiah) Coons and Alice (Lee Sharpe) Hulett; their father, Alan (Shirley) Hulett; her grandchildren, Tyson Heinrich, Caitlin (Devin) Waters, Andrew Coons, Claire Coons, Isaac Sharpe, and Aaron Sharpe; her siblings, Jane Driscoll, Richard Arnold, Robert (Barbara) Arnold, and Sally (Timothy) Poynter; her sister-in-law, Belinda (John) McCreadie; her 39 first cousins; and her nieces, nephews and the friends held dear. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Martin R. and Ruth Arnold; her grandparents, Martin F. and Jane Arnold and Ralph and Bertha Hetterich; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Winkler; her sister-in-law, Mary Farmer; and her son-in-law, Joshua Heinrich.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Celebrant Fr. Jeff Silver.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Arun Sendilnathan, the entire staff at Kettering Health Hamilton Cancer Center, and especially to Julie’s friends who showered her with love, each in their own special way.
