June E. Beckman

June E. Beckman, age 91 of Fairfield, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on August 20, 1924 to Earl and Elizabeth (Bekemeier) Schweinfest. She was a 1942 graduate of Hanover High School. On July 3, 1947 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church she married William E. Beckman, who preceded her in death in 2010. June was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. She was retired from Ohio Casualty Insurance Company.

She is survived by a son, Steve (Mary) Beckman; a daughter, Janice (Jim) Cary; five grandchildren, Stephen (Lisa) Beckman, Scott (Heather) Beckman, Chris (Kelly) Beckman, Tricia (Tim) Sinnott, and Lindsay (Nik) Lyons; seven great-grandchildren, Brayden, Colin, Declan, Celia, Cierra, Olivia, and Aiden; and a brother, Carl (Nancy) Schweinfest. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Beckman; a brother, Earl Schweinfest; sister, Faye Rose; and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Patrick McMullen, celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of your choice in her honor.
