Katherine (Withrow) Bell

Katherine (Withrow) Bell, age 87, of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 3:35 PM. She was born in Hamilton on November 4, 1921 the daughter of Findley and Cecil (King) White. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three sons, Leonard (Paula) Withrow, Charles (Daisy) Withrow, and Keith (Sherri) Withrow all of Hamilton; two daughters, Faye (Lonnie) Whitson of Fairfield and Wilma Dillman of Hamilton; 24 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Maniford of Picksburg, California; and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Findley and Cecil White; three daughters, Charlene "Butchie" Withrow, Carol Ervin, and Linda Godby; a great-grandson, Brandon Hamblin; a special brother, Ralph White, and two other brothers, Lewis White and Russell White.

She will be sadly missed by her special daughter-in-law, Paula Withrow. Also the one she called her special angel, Marlene (Wagers) Withrow.

Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., on Wednesday Sept. 16th at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles Withrow Jr. of New Life Ministries officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. Katherine’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hospice of Hamilton for all their care and support.
