Katherine "Pat" Williams

Katherine "Pat" Williams, age 69 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 7:27 PM. She was born in Hyden, Kentucky on June 21, 1940 the daughter of Jeff and Jettie (Couch) Rice. Katherine was a member of New Harvest United Baptist Church. On March 4, 1962 in Seymour, Indiana she married Robert J. Williams, and he preceded her in death in 2004.

She is survived by a daughter, Melanie (Owen) Kidd of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Thomas (Susill) Kidd and Cody Kidd; one great-grandson, Xander, on the way; three brothers, Marion (Dottie) Rice of Seymour, Indiana, Robert (Marie) Rice of Austin, Indiana, and Mike (Connie) Rice of Seymour, Indiana; and two sisters, Frances Snively of Tennessee and Carrie Roberts of Seymour, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nettie Barger.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Strunk officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
