Kathleen Brinkman

Kathleen Brinkman, age 88 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on April 7, 1927 to Andronicus and Emma (Tipton) Durbin. On June 25, 1949 in Hamilton she married Gregory S. Brinkman, who preceded her in death in 1994. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Kathleen was retired from Avon. She loved sewing, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Gregory (Sally) Brinkman, and Norbert (Nancy) Brinkman; two daughters, Marie (Thomas) Weable, and Tina (Steve) Asher; 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren ; 3 sisters, Jean Kiwala, Carolyn (Philip) Ohlinger, and Delina Mistler; a brother, Pat (Carol) Durbin; and a brother-in-law, Dale Bufler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory S. Brinkman; her sons, Christopher and David (Sherry) Brinkman; 3 grandchildren, David Brinkman II, Gregory N. Brinkman, and Adam Brinkman; 3 brothers, Mike, Andy, and Merle Durbin; 3 sisters, Marjorie Bufler, Rose Minor, and Dorothy Durbin; and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington St., on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Jim Elsbernd, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:30 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in her honor.
