Kathleen M. Korb

Kathleen Marie Korb peacefully passed onto heaven on November 24, 2023. Kathleen was born January 7,1935 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Marcus and Norma (Hamann) Korb who both preceded her in death. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Hamilton, Ohio. Kathleen worked at the Bell Telephone Company for many years and formed many lasting friendships while there. For many years, Kathleen helped care for her brother Bobby. The two of them especially enjoyed decorating for Christmas. Their elaborate snow villages were well known by friends and family. Sometimes, they even agreed on where the decorations should be…. and sometimes they did not. But either way, they decorated and enjoyed having folks come to their home for holiday celebrations.

Kathleen was a long-time parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. Later in life, Kathleen moved to Fairfield where she lived with her two beloved dogs, Annie and Rosie. The two dogs were a big part of her life and she loved them dearly.  Kathleen enjoyed being with her friends and taking many trips to exciting places. She spent many hours playing cards with friends at the Fairfield Community Center. She will be fondly remembered for her generosity.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Margaret Pierson, her brother, Jim Korb, and many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by two brothers, Marc Edward Korb and Bobby Korb.

Kathleen will be buried in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in the family plot. She will be dearly missed.
