Keith Wood

Keith Wood, age 73 of Cincinnati passed away at Mercy Franciscan Mt. Airy on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 2:40 AM. He was born in Okeana on October 29, 1937 the son of Melvin A. and Norma (Stirn) Wood. Keith was employed as a bus driver for the Northwest School District for 20 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Hoffner Masonic Lodge #253 F&AM. On November 23, 1957 in Hamilton he married Dotty L. Young.

He is survived by his wife, Dotty L. Wood of Cincinnati; three sons, Doug (Susan) Wood of Cincinnati, Dennis (Deanna) Wood of Norene, Tennessee, and Donald Wood of Cincinnati; and four grandchildren, Matt, Lauren, Erin and Jacob Wood. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold E. Wood.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Father Jim Meade of Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
