Kelly Bowling

Kelly Bowling age 82 a resident of the Hamilton-Fairfield area for over 62 years went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 30, 2007 at Glen Meadows. He was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on April 27, 1925. The son of Issac and Mary Belle (Hicks) Bowling. He retired from Pillsbury Co. in 1977 after 25 years of service. Kelly was a long time member of Full Gospel Church and a deacon in several area churches. On January 24, 1945 he married his life long sweet heart Maggie Pearl Johnson, to this union were born nine children.

He is survived by his loving devoted wife of 62 years Maggie Bowling of Fairfield, nine children, JoAnn (Arnold) Wagers of Hamilton Penny Gean Garrett and Norval Hicks of Connersville, Indiana, Kenneth Ray (Patty) Bowling of Fairfield, Ohio, Linda Sue Wright of Fairfield, Ohio, Jane Lynn (Danny) Davis of Ross, Ohio, Kelly (Dionne) Bowling, Jr. of Hamilton, Ohio, Patricia Eloise Fights and Cliff Falconi of Oxford, Ohio, John Paul (Gayle) Bowling of Fairfield, Ohio, Issac Edward Bowling and Valarie Hall of Fairfield, Ohio; 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Elmer A. Garrett, and 14 brothers and sisters; Delbert Bowling, Lucinda Hutchinson, Alabama Bowling, Malcomb Bowling, Clarence Bowling, Cora Esther Philpot, Ida Mae Bowling, Woodrow Bowling, Johnny V. Bowling, William L. Bowling, James A. Bowling, Ada Pearl Proffitt, Orbalee Kenneth Bowling, Issac Bowling Jr.

Funeral services will be held at the Full Gospel Church on 2117 Eaton Road on Friday August 3, 2007 at 11AM with Rev. Cecil Benge and Rev. Ernest Benge officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday after 5PM. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Glen Meadows, especially Diesta Ector and the staff of Hospice of Cincinnati.
