Kenneth N. Ebbing

Kenneth N. Ebbing, age 72 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 5:05 PM. He was born in Hamilton on May 31, 1939 the son of Julius and Esther (Loughlan) Ebbing. Kenny was a 1957 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School. He worked most of his career doing wholesale buying and inventory, starting in appliances at Arnold’s Furniture, and retiring in appliances at Lowe’s. Kenny was a past member of Monkey Mutual Aid Society #1 and St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially a fan of Jimmy Johnson. On April 27, 1963 he married Mary F. Clark.

He is survived by his wife, Mary F. Ebbing of Hamilton; two daughters, Rita Williger of Huber Heights and Scarlett (Don) Berger of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Leandra and Kyle Siess, Hannah Williger, Nikki (Adam) Holloway, and Taylor Berger; a gorgeous great-granddaughter, Clementine; a sister, Patricia Ebbing; and sister-in-law, Margaret Ebbing. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Ebbing.

A funeral blessing will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
