Kevin Lee "Killer" Barrett, age 33 of Middletown passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2:23 PM. He was born in Middletown on July 27, 1974 the son of Larry and Beatrice (Begley) Barrett. Kevin was employed as a heavy equipment operator for MPW at AK Steel for the past year.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Beatrice Barrett of Liberty Township; five children, Emily Miley of Indiana, Christopher Hoskins Barrett, Michael Barrett, Courtney Barrett, all of Arizona, and Kevin Lee Barrett Jr. of Clermont County; a brother, Wayne (Tina) Barrett of Douglas, Wyoming; two sisters, Trish (Clark) Clifford of Hamilton and Sarah (Darrell) Smith of Middletown; his grandmother, Helen Barrett of Hamilton; two nephews, Kody and Jesse; a niece, Samantha; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday.
