Kevin M. Schmidtz, age 59 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Kevin was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 21, 1959 to George F. Schmidtz and Marian (Tabler) Schmidtz. Kevin graduated from Badin High School in 1977. He was an avid baseball fan of the Reds. Kevin enjoyed playing baseball, softball and loved playing cards with his friends and family.
Kevin is survived by sons, Mike (Tonya) Schmidtz and Ryan (Gina) Schmidtz; grandchildren, Austin, Abby and Caroline Schmidtz; brother, Dan (Karen) Schmidtz; niece, Amy (TJ) Wardlow and nephew, Adam (Michelle) Schmidtz. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, George F. and Marian Schmidtz; brother, David Schmidtz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton OH 45013. Funeral service will be held at St Julie Billiart Parish, 224 Dayton St, Hamilton, OH 45011 on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Badin High School Baseball program.
